About Search Console

Search Console gives free tools and reports help you measure your site's Search traffic and performance, fix issues,

and make your site shine in Google Search results. 

How it works

Search Console App verifies your website with Google and then creates a new website in your Google account.

The App does the following:

• Connect the App to your Google Account via Google OAuth.
• Verify the domain final domain of the website you plan to use.
• The App will create a verification token and install it on the website automatically.
• The next time your site is published, the App will ask Google to verify the website with Google.
• After verification, the App will automatically submit your sitemap to Google for crawling.
• Every time you publish the site, the App will resubmit your sitemap for Google to crawl and index.

Requirements and known limitations

This app requires that you have a Google Account to login to. It automatically creates a new website within Google Search console on your behalf, so, you need to log in to your Google account during setup.

This app also requires that your website have an SSL certifcate with it.

 Most websites do and the platform automatically applies one for you, but, it assumes that you want to create the site property with a secure https connection.
